Who this is

Who is Jorge Aguilar?
Jorge Aguilar is a creator, software developer and business operator based in Culiacán, Mexico. He founded SaaS Master, where he has produced 800+ software videos for 200+ brands in English and Spanish since 2019. He runs DocFlow Studio, a client-owned software video production company, and operates Zeder Cabinet Studio, a custom cabinetry manufacturer in Culiacán. He also builds and ships his own software: five Chrome extensions on the Chrome Web Store, among them FlowCapture and FlightGlass, an Android tool on Google Play, and the open-source macOS app StackPulse.

Is this the same Jorge Aguilar as the footballer or the musician?
No. Jorge Aguilar is a common name and several public people share it, including athletes and musicians with no connection to this work. This site refers to the Jorge Aguilar who founded SaaS Master, runs DocFlow Studio and operates Zeder Cabinet Studio from Culiacán, Sinaloa. The linked profiles on this site are the only accounts that belong to him.

Where is he based, and does he work with clients outside Mexico?
He is based in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The video work is remote and international, in English and Spanish, and has been since 2019. The cabinetry business is the exception: Zeder Cabinet Studio manufactures and installs locally, because a kitchen has to be measured, delivered and fitted in person.

Working together

What is the difference between SaaS Master and DocFlow Studio?
Who the audience belongs to. SaaS Master is Jorge's own channel and audience: he appears on camera, the video lives on his properties, and it reaches the people who follow him. DocFlow Studio is production for the client: the video is theirs, it lives on their channel and inside their product, and nobody from Jorge's side appears in it. Companies usually want one or the other, and the difference decides which one they hire.

Does he take client work?
Yes, through DocFlow Studio for production the client owns, and through SaaS Master for work that runs on his own channel. Availability changes with what is already in production, so the honest answer to any specific project is a reply to an email rather than a number on a page. Rates are not published because the two formats price differently and scope decides more than format does.

The software

What software has he actually built and shipped?
Nine projects are listed publicly on this site. Seven have a working public link: five Chrome extensions on the Chrome Web Store, one Android tool on Google Play, and StackPulse, a macOS menu-bar app that reads AI provider usage and spend, open source under MIT. The remaining two are labelled prototypes because there is nothing public to install. Around 25 further products are private client work or internal tooling and are deliberately not listed.

What does the “live” label on a project mean?
That a public link exists and was fetched and confirmed: a store listing, a demo, or a repository. Anything without one is labelled a prototype, even when it is finished and in daily use. The label is set by the link rather than by how complete the project feels, so a project cannot be promoted by describing it more confidently.

Why does someone who explains software also write it?
Because each side corrects the other. Explaining 200 brands' products taught him what a confusing interface looks like from outside, but not whether the confusion came from the underlying model or from the labels, which are different problems with different fixes. Building his own tools answers that. It also runs the other way: FlowCapture exists because 800 recordings defined its requirements better than any planning session would have.

The video work

Does he produce video in Spanish as well as English?
Yes, both, and a Spanish cut is not the English one with subtitles. The interface language on screen changes, the order the questions arrive in changes, and the examples change, because a payment flow or a tax field that makes sense to a US viewer is the wrong example for a Mexican one. What stays shared is the screen recording itself, which is why two languages do not cost twice the work.

What kind of software does he cover?
AI coding and automation tools, self-hosting on a VPS, SaaS setup walkthroughs and product demos. The library on this site is grouped by topic so each area can be browsed on its own, and every entry links to the original video on YouTube. Recording software for a living is also what defines what he builds, so the topics and the projects tend to overlap.

Practical

What is the fastest way to reach him?
The contact form on this site, which routes by what the message is about: production work, a software question, or press. Including the product name and what the video is meant to do gets a useful reply faster than a general enquiry does, because it is the difference between a scheduling answer and a scoping one.

Are there bio and press materials available?
Yes. The media kit carries a short and a long biography written to be used verbatim, the topics he can speak to, and every published figure with the date it was verified and where it came from. It is maintained as the canonical version, so quoting it is safer than paraphrasing from elsewhere on the site.

How can I tell what he is working on right now?
The Now page, which carries a date on every entry and an archive of what it said before. It is the page to check before assuming anything on the rest of the site is current, because the rest of the site describes what exists and that page describes what is moving.
