PagePing
Point at any element on any page, pick a rule, and get a private desktop notification when it changes.
In one sentence
Point at any element on any page, pick a rule, and get a private desktop notification when it changes.
The problem
Page-watching services want an account, a subscription, and a copy of every page you care about on their servers.
Why I built it
Restock and price alerts are a five-line problem if the watcher already runs in your browser. Everything else those services add is billing.
Who it is for
Anyone tracking a price, a restock, or a status page without wanting an account.

Technology
- TypeScript

- MutationObserver
- Notifications API
Role
Sole developer.
What I learned
Element selectors break constantly. A watcher that silently stops working is worse than one that never worked — it needs to tell you when it loses its target.
